3D Printing

Quick & Cost-Effective Prototyping

Seelye Fabrication

Seeyle Eiler Plastics has invested in 3D printing technology to bring you prototypes and short-runs faster and more efficiently than ever before.

Rapid Prototyping, also known as 3D printing, is an additive manufacturing technique. The process begins with taking a virtual design from a model or computer aided design (CAD) software. The printer then reads the design data and creates layers of material to build up a physical model from a series of segments. These layers, which correspond to the virtual cross sections from the CAD design, are fused together to generate the desired form. Some systems can produce the finished 3D model within a few hours although completion times do vary based on project size and the number of components being produced.
